Creating a Safe Work Environment
Safety is part of our everyday corporate culture. We strive to ensure that safety is taken seriously, and it starts with a belief of senior management, to provide a safe and healthy work environment. All workers employed by Canbian Inc., are responsible for health and safety.
We believe that all workers must take care of each other to ensure that everyone goes home safely to their family and friends. Mentoring of all employees is a fundamental approach to ensuring safety standards are maintained. All workers have the right to participate, to know and refuse unsafe work.
Our Safety Management System
Canbian is committed to a safety management system to ensure that all staff, in the office, shop and worksites are protected at all times. We protect the public from accidents, that surround our work sites. All employees from field staff to senior management are accountable and responsible for all safety initiatives.
Canbian reviews safety policies with assistance from our Health & Safety Committee. We follow WCB and OH&S Legislation and adopt changes to our Health & Safety Manual to protect our employees. We expect that all staff should participate in, and be part of, our safety culture to ensure safety excellence.
